Make up: Barry M pink nail art pen

I had a bit of a Barry M haul.

I brought the pink nail art pen as I thought it would go well with some of the other nail polish colours I have.

I wanted something that was very precise, which this is. I would always buy this as using other nail art applicators, they are not as percise

Make up: Barry M Shocking Pink Nail Varnish

I brought this Barry M nail varnish as I wanted to try something from their range.

I use this nail polish in combination with some extra short French manicure nails that I brought from Boots all in the same purchase.

I did not find it thick like some cheaper brand varnishes. Even with one coat the colour is very bold, in comparison to some of the cheaper brand varnishes, where you need to keep dipping the brush in just to get an even coat. There is no need with that with this Barry M varnish.

I wanted pink as pink is one of my favourite colours, I was torn between this colour and a bright purple. There are so many colours in the brand, Ill probably end up buying them all at some point.

Tea: Twinings Darjeeling tea

I always purchase twining products from my local supermarket. Last week I decided to try their Darjeeling tea. I remember having Darjeeling from another brand before, so I thought id try twinings to see if there were any difference.

Twinings Darjeeling has a very powerful but aromatic smell to it once it has been brewed. Not too over powering like some teas tend to be once they have been brewed.

I tend to drink Darjeeling tea at lunch time or in the afternoon. As from the Twinings range I also have the breakfast, earl grey, lavender and Cranberry teas. I drink each one at different times of the day. I reviewed the Darjeeling tea as it is my favourite tea from the Twinings brand.

Beauty: Lush Twilight bath bomb

This bath bomb is the most recent one I have purchased on my many trips to Lush in Bristol and Taunton.

I always end up buying this one because I like the way it makes my skin feel after I have used it. I only need to use half of one at a time.

I also like the way it makes my bath look more relaxing and pretty. I also like the fact that its pink, and one that Lush sell all year round, so I am able to purchase it when ever I am after another bath bomb.

Lush Twilight bath bomb £3.35 from Lush stores in the UK and US, and on the Lush website

Make up: MUA eye-shadow palette Poptastic

The MUA eye-shadow poptastic palette is a definate must have if you want to brighten up an outfit your wearing and stand out amongst the crowd.

I was on the look out for some eye shadow that would stand out and make a statement, it was suggested I try MUA poptastic. As you can see from the image that all the colours are bold and bright, as most outfits I wear are black or dark coloured, I wanted to add a bit of colour to myself.

Ive had MUA eye-shadow palettes before and have always been happy with how I have looked after and this one was no different. I have only so far used the pink and dark purple but am going to try some of the other colours in the coming weeks.

I will always buy from the MUA brand because their products are so cheap but they do exactly what I want them to do. I dont like to spend too much on something I like, so I stick to the lower end products, where possible, as it suits mu look and budget.

Make up: MUA Matte Foundation Shade 1 (Soft Sand)

Again, this is another product from the MUA range, which is available online or from Superdrugs stores around the country.

This is the lightest shade of foundation that MUA do. Very professional looking packaging too.

I chose this foundation because I was experimenting with make up and did not want to spend a lot on make up that I would not use again.

I also found this great, because I have VERY sensitive skin, and using a layer of this foundation hides my spots and blackheads.

This is easily applied by using a make up sponge or a foundation brush. I prefer the foundation brush for a longer lasting and more even application of the foundation.

Restaurants: Za Za Bazzar, Harbourside, Bristol

Located on Bristol's famous harbourside, Za Za Bazzar can cater for up to 1000 diners at any one time, downstairs in the bar and upstairs in the main dining area.

Za Za Bazzar is a world buffet all you can eat. From Japanese Sushi to Traditional English Fish and chips, there is something to satisfy everyone.

I go here about 4 times a year, and I am never left disappointed. All you can eat is exactly that. Here I can manage almost 5 plates work of food, which is worth it when lunch time prices are £8.99 (Monday-Thursday) £9.99 Friday and Saturday, and their dinner time prices after 5pm are £14.99 (Monday-Thursday) and £16.99 (Friday and Saturday) Well worth it, I have learnt not to eat a big breakfast before I go here, so I can try everything.

There is also a Za Za Bazzar in Newcastle too!

Make up Brushes: Nanshy

I was so chuffed when I was given the Nanshy make up brush set as a gift as I know how expensive but popular they are.

100% ethical and PETA approved. I was given the luxury set which on the Nanshy official website retails at £34.95. I haven't used them all yet but they, for sure are the best and most smoothest make-up brushes I have ever used.

Fellow bloggers/vloggers WEGAN got me into Nanshy products, having seen their vlog from the Nanshy masterclass. I have been intrigued in Nanshy products ever since. I hope to try their make up sponges soon to see if they will benefit me and my skin as much as the brushes have.

Make up: MUA red Lipstick from Superdrugs

I buy a lot from the MUA brand as its cheap and cheerful.

I brought shade 13 which I feel is as pure red as there is in the MUA range. I wanted red lipstick as I want big bold red lips for going out. I think its best to use this stick with a gloss, as I dont really like the look of just the lipstick on its own.

This product is definitely easier being applied using a lipstick brush. I've tried using it straight from the tube, and it gets very messy indeed. Only £1 per lipstick from Superdrugs and on the MUA online store, its great if your just starting out with make up and experimenting with colours and shades and working out what's right for you.

Where it all begins

Hi All

I am starting to blog again as I miss doing it.

Ill be doing all sorts, mainly reviews of different things, mainly products, but I might throw the odd TV or film review in there too.
