I love... XMAS SPECIAL

Hey guys

Ilove sent me some of their products to review a while back, I had to get a new laptop and camera which means here is the post again.

I absolutely love these lip balms, I was sent the strawberries one. It is very pigmented for a balm, and that is what I really like. I love products are always affordable and these are no exceptions, I have had to replace the one I was sent now because I have used it all up who knows, I might use it in an empties video :)

This one was a bit hit and miss for me because I absolutely hate ANYTHING to do with cherry, but when I smelt this, I thought it was amazing, the way it is blended with almond flavours and smells automatically makes me think of Christmas. I was sent this bottle along with a spritzer, and both of them are amazing , and really affordable.

OMG! This has to be my favourite I love product yet. The smell is amazing, and it also makes your bath smell amazing too. It smells like marshmellows which is one of my favourite things so that is a bonus for me. I haven't used all of this yet, I am trying now to use it too quick, because I like it so much.
This one wasnt sent in the package, but I got this flavour in a set that Superdrugs are currently selling. This one automatically makes me think of Terry's chocolate orange, which are amazing. This one always makes you feel refreshed after you have had a bath or shower with it.

Sorry for the silence!

Sorry for the silence over the past month or so peeps! My laptop broke, I went on holiday and I am starting another course of hospital treatment ready for a possible operation in the new year.

So just some general life updates:
- I went to see my favourite Eurovision winner, Ruslana, in concert in Manchester 2 weekends ago. She was such an amazing person to meet and see live. I actually saw her live twice in the same weekend, so that is definately an experience I will not forget in a hurry.
- I became really sick because I had a terrible allergic reaction to my new medication. All my face and lips were swollen. I almost did not make it to Manchester for this reason, I managed to defy the odds and make it, and I am very glad I did
- I got a package from I love which included some of their newer products. This will be coming in a blog and hopefully a youtube post.
- Finally, after months of waiting, I managed to get myself a new laptop. Only cost me 299.99. I did not fancy paying the price for a MAC as there are other things I want to do with my money.
- I have become more and more interested in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, this was all down to my meeting with Ruslana.
- I had MANY hospital appointments all for different things. I have loads more coming up, so watch this space to see how they turn out.

So sorry for the silence peeps, ill be back on my blogging and youtubing game from this week.

Bodytalk with Pixiwoo

I have been binge watching a lot of Pixiwoo videos lately, having been ill, its given me more time to watch video and look at new things. I knew Pixiwoo were Jim Chapman's sisters, I already watch Jim Chapman anyway, but I thought I would watch these guys too, and I am so glad I did. I never wore or experimented with make up before my health declined, but now I am on the up, I am starting to be more adventurous and it is down to these guys. Having watched a lot of their Bodytalk series in the run up to my last hospital visit, I came across one they did with Katie Piper, and it is the best thing I have seen in ages. Having watched this, and seen the direction Katie has taken her life in, it has made me think that my past and my declining health shouldn't hold me back, that is partially what made me think about the idea of doing make up as a side hobby while I am recovering.
Bodytalk with Pixiwoo and Katie Piper

Another Pixiwoo video I enjoyed watching was Sam's video talking about Anxiety. Until I watched this, I always thought I was clear of anxiety, but it proves I am not. Having heard Sam talk about it the way she did it made me think a lot harder about my anxiety, in some ways I can't prevent it but in some ways I can. It is right what Nic said in that video that we all feel pressured in today's society to almost be perfect, but as Sam rightly proved, that is not the case. I took to youtube to do my own Anxiety video (With some crap editing) but I think if I had not of come Across Sam's video about it, I would never of had the courage to do my own, and now I have done it, I can feel better because I know what situations make me feel anxious, some can be avoided and some can't. I am not perfect, nor am I trying to be, I just want people to know that it is ok to be anxious.

Beauty: Lush Think pink Bath bomb

WOW! This has to be one of the best bath bombs ive used from Lush. Was not as expensive as a lot of them. I would use with the bubble bar that smells like candy floss. These 2 are a perfect pair. I come out smelling really nice. I also use this with a few other lush products, all of which work together.

Music: Ruslana sings Wild Dances in Romanian

WOW! WOW! WOW! I did not expect this when Ruslana performed at the Romanian National Selection on Craiova on the 8th March, which saw Voltaj win the vote to represent Romania at the 2015 Eurovision song Contest in Romania.

As always Ruslana was the star of the show, having recently been hospitalized for Pneumonia previous to this event, I think she performed with more energy then she ever had before.

Ruslana sings Wild Dances in Romanian

The lyrics for her most famous sing, the Eurovision winning 'Wild Dances' were translated by a fan, and a fan I have pleasure of talking too on facebook, Alexandru Busa. He told me he was very proud to see Ruslana perform her most famous song in his home country. I am full of praise for both of them. Alexandru because he took the time to translate the lyrics, and Ruslana because she sung the translation pitch perfect, accent perfect, and just perfect all around, and with so much passion.

I for one am proud that Ruslana is attempting to sing her most famous song in multiple languages, other then the Ukrainian and English versions that most of her songs come in.

I am so proud of Ruslana over comming the obstacles of Maidan and Pneumonia to perform on the Romanian stage, I was proud to watch as a fan all the way from England.

Health and Beauty: Zuzka Natural Beauty

I was really excited when I got this through the post. I love the look of the silver bottle and the pink sticker with the company name on is really eye catching.

Zuzka are all about natural and organic products, which is what I am looking for to see if they really do help my horrible skin type.

I got the botanicals argenine hydroxy concentrated serum. It was a lot thinner then I would asume a serum to be, but dont let that fool you. It was really nice on my skin, didn't cling to it like most other products do. It was making my skin a little warm, but most face products do that to me. I had almost 3 weeks use out of it, as I would use it after I have thoroughly washed my skin. This is meant to be used in conjunction with another Zuzka product called Argentine Hydroxy Rejuvinating day cream, but I found the serum pleasurable to use on its own.

I really liked the smell, did not smell artifical in anyway.

If I had the money I would definitely purchase any other Zuzka product again.

Bloggers hub: The Beauty mask

I thought I would give the mask a go because I have a lot of skin problems. It almost has got rid of the skin problems I had.

I made sure I washed my face and dried it thoroughly before using this mask, and that did make a whole load of difference.

I only had to wear the mask for 20 minutes when I used it. I had the herbal rejuvenation mask. It certainly rejuvenated my skin. Any other skin mask I have used in the past has made my skin really warm, but this was fantastic. My skin feels a lot better.

I would certainly recommend this one to anyone thinking of trying the beauty masks. I will certainly be buying some more in the future.

Beauty: I love cosmetics range

OMG! I really do not know where to start with this. I have had a bit of a spending spree with this brand over the last few days and I am so glad I did.

The Lemon and Lime shower gel is my favourite smelling out of the different flavours I own. At the moment I currently own this one,  Strawberries and cream, Vanilla, Raspberry and Blackberry, Cocconut and Mango and Papya. I just like the way it feels on my body, its the same with all the gels they always make me feeling so refreshed in the morning. I use one until I run out then I love onto the next. I got some of these in Boots for £1 (current deal), some in Superdrugs for £1.45 (Current deal) and the rest I can't remember how much but they were from Primarks in Taunton and Bristol. I dont mind paying a lot for these as I know I really enjoy them.

The Strawberries and cream hand scrub was the first thing I brought in the I love range. In the hand scrubs I have this one, Mango and Papya, Cocconut and Rasperry and Blackberry. These hand scrubs have an ingredient in them which helps your hands exfoliate and also makes them smell like the flavour that is on the tube. Currently I am using the Mango one as I am using all the mango products I have first before moving onto a different flavours. I picked all the flavours I have from superdrugs for £1.45 a tube (BARGAIN)

This is the flavour of products I am currently using at the moment. I don't have the lip stuff but I have everything else. I love the way it makes my body smell.

Over the last few days I have spent about £40 for stuff in this range and I am glad I did as all of it is surely worth every penny.

Health and lifestyle: Slendertox tea

I recieved this in the post about 13 days ago, so my 2 weeks is almost up.

With my health problems I had to check this was ok, my doctor gave me the green light so off I went.

I had to make sure I was eating ok with this product as I have a tendency to over eat.

I kept a perfect diet throughout this 2 week detox diet.

I do admit, I struggled with this a bit at first, but over the course of the 2 weeks I really got into it.

I lost a lot of weight, more then I actually thought I would.

It tastes really nice too, I almost made the mistake of putting milk into it, luckily I didnt, I used both the day and night one, both just as nice as each other. Would definitely purchase this when I get the chance. NICE WORK SLENDERTOX

Make up: Barry M pink nail art pen

I had a bit of a Barry M haul.

I brought the pink nail art pen as I thought it would go well with some of the other nail polish colours I have.

I wanted something that was very precise, which this is. I would always buy this as using other nail art applicators, they are not as percise

Barry M Pink Nail Art Applicator £3.99 from Boots in store and online

Make up: Barry M Shocking Pink Nail Varnish

I brought this Barry M nail varnish as I wanted to try something from their range.

I use this nail polish in combination with some extra short French manicure nails that I brought from Boots all in the same purchase.

I did not find it thick like some cheaper brand varnishes. Even with one coat the colour is very bold, in comparison to some of the cheaper brand varnishes, where you need to keep dipping the brush in just to get an even coat. There is no need with that with this Barry M varnish.

I wanted pink as pink is one of my favourite colours, I was torn between this colour and a bright purple. There are so many colours in the brand, Ill probably end up buying them all at some point.

Barry M shocking Pink Nail Varnish £2.99 from Boots in store and online

Tea: Twinings Darjeeling tea

I always purchase twining products from my local supermarket. Last week I decided to try their Darjeeling tea. I remember having Darjeeling from another brand before, so I thought id try twinings to see if there were any difference.

Twinings Darjeeling has a very powerful but aromatic smell to it once it has been brewed. Not too over powering like some teas tend to be once they have been brewed.

I tend to drink Darjeeling tea at lunch time or in the afternoon. As from the Twinings range I also have the breakfast, earl grey, lavender and Cranberry teas. I drink each one at different times of the day. I reviewed the Darjeeling tea as it is my favourite tea from the Twinings brand.

Twinings Darjeeling tea £5 from Twinings online

Beauty: Lush Twilight bath bomb

This bath bomb is the most recent one I have purchased on my many trips to Lush in Bristol and Taunton.

I always end up buying this one because I like the way it makes my skin feel after I have used it. I only need to use half of one at a time.

I also like the way it makes my bath look more relaxing and pretty. I also like the fact that its pink, and one that Lush sell all year round, so I am able to purchase it when ever I am after another bath bomb.

Lush Twilight bath bomb £3.35 from Lush stores in the UK and US, and on the Lush website

Make up: MUA eye-shadow palette Poptastic

The MUA eye-shadow poptastic palette is a definate must have if you want to brighten up an outfit your wearing and stand out amongst the crowd.

I was on the look out for some eye shadow that would stand out and make a statement, it was suggested I try MUA poptastic. As you can see from the image that all the colours are bold and bright, as most outfits I wear are black or dark coloured, I wanted to add a bit of colour to myself.

Ive had MUA eye-shadow palettes before and have always been happy with how I have looked after and this one was no different. I have only so far used the pink and dark purple but am going to try some of the other colours in the coming weeks.

I will always buy from the MUA brand because their products are so cheap but they do exactly what I want them to do. I dont like to spend too much on something I like, so I stick to the lower end products, where possible, as it suits mu look and budget.

MUA POP TASTIC EYE SHADOW PALETTE CURRENTLY ON SALE FOR £2 IN SUPERDRUGS

Make up: MUA Matte Foundation Shade 1 (Soft Sand)

Again, this is another product from the MUA range, which is available online or from Superdrugs stores around the country.

This is the lightest shade of foundation that MUA do. Very professional looking packaging too.

I chose this foundation because I was experimenting with make up and did not want to spend a lot on make up that I would not use again.

I also found this great, because I have VERY sensitive skin, and using a layer of this foundation hides my spots and blackheads.

This is easily applied by using a make up sponge or a foundation brush. I prefer the foundation brush for a longer lasting and more even application of the foundation.

MUA MATTE FOUNDATION SHADE 1 (SOFT SAND) £1 IN SUPERDRUGS AND ONLINE

Restaurants: Za Za Bazzar, Harbourside, Bristol

Located on Bristol's famous harbourside, Za Za Bazzar can cater for up to 1000 diners at any one time, downstairs in the bar and upstairs in the main dining area.

Za Za Bazzar is a world buffet all you can eat. From Japanese Sushi to Traditional English Fish and chips, there is something to satisfy everyone.

I go here about 4 times a year, and I am never left disappointed. All you can eat is exactly that. Here I can manage almost 5 plates work of food, which is worth it when lunch time prices are £8.99 (Monday-Thursday) £9.99 Friday and Saturday, and their dinner time prices after 5pm are £14.99 (Monday-Thursday) and £16.99 (Friday and Saturday) Well worth it, I have learnt not to eat a big breakfast before I go here, so I can try everything.

There is also a Za Za Bazzar in Newcastle too!

Make up Brushes: Nanshy

I was so chuffed when I was given the Nanshy make up brush set as a gift as I know how expensive but popular they are.

100% ethical and PETA approved. I was given the luxury set which on the Nanshy official website retails at £34.95. I haven't used them all yet but they, for sure are the best and most smoothest make-up brushes I have ever used.

Fellow bloggers/vloggers WEGAN got me into Nanshy products, having seen their vlog from the Nanshy masterclass. I have been intrigued in Nanshy products ever since. I hope to try their make up sponges soon to see if they will benefit me and my skin as much as the brushes have.

NANSHY LUXURY MAKE UP BRUSHES SET £34.95 AVALIABLE FROM NANSHY.COM/SHOP

Make up: MUA red Lipstick from Superdrugs

I buy a lot from the MUA brand as its cheap and cheerful.

I brought shade 13 which I feel is as pure red as there is in the MUA range. I wanted red lipstick as I want big bold red lips for going out. I think its best to use this stick with a gloss, as I dont really like the look of just the lipstick on its own.

This product is definitely easier being applied using a lipstick brush. I've tried using it straight from the tube, and it gets very messy indeed. Only £1 per lipstick from Superdrugs and on the MUA online store, its great if your just starting out with make up and experimenting with colours and shades and working out what's right for you.

Where it all begins

Hi All

I am starting to blog again as I miss doing it.

Ill be doing all sorts, mainly reviews of different things, mainly products, but I might throw the odd TV or film review in there too.
